I'm a Linux user, so I actually bought the wrong model number. However, after plugging this cam in it worked fine for Skype, the only problem I had was that I had no audio drivers for the microphone. Looks like I can install the missing software through Wine, though.

I was really surprised how clear the image was for such a cheap webcam.
