    This speaker system is impressive. The price says more about the system than the appearance. I do not travel so the size suits my needs. The clarity is outstanding, and never disappointing. The option to increase or decrease the bass volume makes it easier to avoid distortion. The option to connect the system to a video game console or stereo receiver gives the users multiple ways to amplify their entertainment. The length of the cords make the listening experience more theater than standard pc. speakers.

        My old receiver died and my speakers were ruined by a flooded basement. I couldn't afford to buy a new receiver and speakers. I saw this system had positive reviews and I've been using my pc for more and more (netflix, youtube, etc.) so I set this system up as my living room home theater. It sounds good and the price is right. It just needs a remote for the volume control. Also, buy some male-to-female single RCA extender cables - you'll need at least one 12-footer for a small living room.

        Easy to set up, and a great value. Sounds and feels like a $150-$200 system. Sleek look and downward facing bass fills the large rooms very nicely. Wired system means great quality without lag or interference. Only real con is that it will not utilize all speakers when using only a single 3.5mm audio jack, such as when plugged into a machine without a sound card or a simple headphone jack. This system is only truly meant for a full system. If you only use a single 3.5mm jack for output, save money and get a 2 or 3 piece set.
