It's a nice book. kind of pricey but I needed to spend another 6 $$ to get free shipping so got this.lol It really is well constructed I may give as gift as haven;t used it yet. Great for a diary if you don't need a locked one.

I love the color! I don't have an i-pad, so this will hold all my travel plans (addresses, ph.#s, & day by day schedules). I love that it is hardback.

As a scribe for several internal and external meetings, I have created a journal for each meeting that I pull as I am heading out. It provides previous information to review back on when necessary. I utilize the journal to capture salient points, or conversations/ideas that may be asked to place on Action/Radar lists for future endeavors, transcribe specific Visio-oriented information onto paper and then access when the meeting has concluded and I am transcribing from my laptop. I keep the minutes, agendas and handouts in the journal for the next meeting and continue the tradition for each meeting. It is a great place to document information that should not be part of the minutes but can be reviewed by the manager/directors at a later time. This is great tool and keeps me totally organized and confidential if need be.

This journal is a lot better than other journals I have used in the past. It opens fully to make writing on each page easy. The cover is interesting with its textured surface. The best thing is the storage pocket in the back. I hope I will be able to utilize all of the entertaining tips. I wish those sheets were perforated so they could be removed since this is not being used as an "entertaining" journal.

bought 2 of these- each as a gift to a college coed.

Girly color - sort of a tiffany blue- well made

Shagreen (faux sharkskin texture) adds a lot of interest.
