I needed a large file cabinet and yet didn't want a tall 4-drawer since my home office doubles as a guest room. I like everything about this lateral cabinet except that the lock doesn't seem very sturdy. When the cabinet is locked the drawer still pulls out some and it feels like, if I pulled hard enough, I could force it open.

Ordered this cabinet, and it was clear from the beginning that it was not made well. I thought the original was defective and ordered another one. The second was was just as bad as the first. Doors do not stay closed unless locked, and you have to try four or five times to get the lock to work. Returning the second one again, and going with a different product. Very poor quality and construction.

Personal use, fit right into a space I had. was able to put all my papers in it whith space to spare. I even put a thick pad on top to use it as a extra seat.
