I ran a scheduled scan on my computer and was unable to do anything else. It takes almost a day even if I delete some of the drives for scanning. I am unable to do anything else on the computer while the scan is running because it slows it down so much. When I sought help from McAfee I dealt with chat using go-to assist twice and then spoke to a low level agent from India. I was told to do the scan when I was not using the computer. He didn't listen to me because I told him I ran the scan from 8 PM and it still was not done at 10AM the next day. I was not on the computer. My computer is healthy, all the drives defragged and temporary files and cookies deleted - still does not work! He did not elevate my problem just said the software was working properly! I told him that the internet search revealed others had this problem. I do not think he understood what I was saying and was working from a script. He had to put me on hold about 5 times.
