I've used notebooks for the past 20 years. I prefer them over a Laptop or smartphone to keep notes. The notebook can go anywhere, doesn't need charging or will break when dropped on the floor.
There are drawbacks though and it's certainly not hip but I like to keep things simple.

Looove these Cambridge spiral bound notebooks. I use them for journals and for taking notes at continuing education Seinars and events. Perfect size- fits easily in a briefcase or a pocketbook, so I can take them wherever I go.

I;ve been buying these for years. Fits perfectly in a pocketbook or briefcase so I can always have it on me. I use them for journals and also for taking notes at sales meetings and conventions.

We needed a small notebook and this serves the purpose just fine. My only complaint is that the label on the cover did not remove cleanly. It took a lot of picking at tiny pieces to get it off, and then it left an adhesive residue.

I love these little notebooks. I use them for maintenance logs for my vehicles, and for computer logs for system management on my computers. They are extremely durable, and they hold a pen very nicely in the spiral binding. I keep coming back for more of these.

I've used these for years and came back for more blanks. Couldn't be happier. I use a leather address book cover for mine and I'm looking for a new one. 5x8 covers are available and the combination is about as perfect as I can find anywhere. Quality paper - ink doesn't smear much (I use a fountain). Perforations are rarely used, but nice to have. They don't get flimsy and let pages fall out.

Great to keep by telephone for quick notes and doesn't use a lot of desk space.
