I'm told these are going away in favor of Blue Ray.
The 8+ gig is more than sufficient for most of your archiving, and you don't have to have an expensive BlueRay burner.

We got the DVD+R with the points we earned but none of DVD works! Wasted our time and energy! We'll not recommend this to anyone.
We hope in the future we'll find better quality at Staples.

Bought these since they were on sale and needed some backups discs for my burner. I had heard mixed reviews about these particular brand discs but decided to give them a try anyways. Out of the 15, I've gone through about 7-8 of them without any coasters which is promising. I did notice that there are these discs that have the words "Dual Layer" etched into the top near the right hand side and ones that don't. I assumed the ones that don't have this etching are possibly older model/production ones which may have caused some of the negative feedback I've seen about these. So far though, no issues with the discs I got.

I will buy them again but considering the quality one assumes with this brand I was frustrated with the proportion that were duds. Better QC is required at the factory.
