I bought this product in order to be able to communicate on Ventrilo. It's worked great for the purpose, and I have co-workers who use this same headset on there. I've even started to use it just for the headphones, due to the great sound quality.

It truley was plug and listen and talk. I was having issues with my older set using Rosetta Stone (very fussy about pronunciation). When I listened to the playback, there was a lot of static (no wonder it didn't like how I spoke French). With the new set, I breezed through the lessons.

Not a bad headphone set, not great either. The in-line mute/volume/call answer "pod" should be closer to the headset, it hangs down too far (I'm 6'3" tall) and as a result there's interference with the armrest on the office chair. On more than one occasion the mute button was accidentally activated............. resulting in a missed call. It's (the control) also rather large in size since it has volume +/-, Mic mute and call answer (for some proprietary Windows Live messenger chat app. Which I don't use....... and if you don't either, find a headset without this "feature". One that has a simple mini slide for volume and mute.

The Lifechat lx3000 is the comfortable headset I have ever owned. I play online games for hours at a time and never have any discomfort. The sound quality is great and the ease of use is great too! They were very affordable also. I would and have recommended them to my family and friends.

After a long time it feels like you are still wearing the headphones even though you may have taken them off hours ago. They are snug I mean and I like that but not round enough for my ears.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price point - about 30 dollars. These are almost as good as the ones I spent MUCH more on, the only limitation is they are a little uncomfortable after a few hours use. (I wear them for teaching 3 hours at a time, 2 to 3 times a day.

I purchased the product to use with Rosetta Sne because I had lost the original headset. It was much more reasonable than purchasing through the Rosetta Stone Company. At first I thought it didn't work but after playing around with it for quite a while I realized that I need to open the program before I attached the headphone. It seems to be working fine now. It is comfortable and fits nicely on my head. It is adjustable so that I don't get the same headache that I did with other headphones. The cable attached is sufficient to have enough space to properly use it without stretching it out of shape.

These headphones got a little uncomfortable after more than an hour's use; however, I am someone who does not tolerate headphones very well to begin with. Microphone and headphone quality seemed fine to me. Installation was easy and I was able to use these with OOVOO almost immediately.
