Wish I had bought this with my surface, when I purchased it. The on screen typing works good but this typing cover I really like and it makes the Surface work like a real PC. I have had no problems with it so far, time will tell. Fits great in my folio cover I have on my Surface Pro. Works like a real keyboard.

This tablet fits me. I needed to be able to have word, excell, get online, and share documents from my computer. This does that. My son said I wouldn't be able to get apps for it, especially gaming, but I don't need those. If you need apps, this would not be for you. But it fits my needs so I think it's great.

I use my Surface with the type cover at home, at work and when I travel. I used the tablet with screen touch for 6 months. It was great, but I found my head looking down for long periods, not the best for the neck. I added the type cover after checking out the other covers and found this one to be the best for me.

There is no set-up. It attaches quickly with magnets and starts working. If you take it off, no problem. while it's on you can also choose to only use screen touch. And it protects the screen well.

Purchased this to use with the Surface Pro. I am very happy with the keyboard. The magnetic catch to the tablet connects with ease and stays attached without any difficulty. The keyboard is easy and comfortable to use. This is my first tablet/keyboard and I am not very technically savvy so for me to say that I am not having any difficulty with this says much for the keyboard. I did however choose this keyboard over the soft one in efforts to avoid a big learning curve and am very happy with my choice.
