About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about Microsoft Surface 32GB RT Tablet with BT Keyboard:
I pondered for 6 months or longer about a tablet, I think I made an excellent choice purchaseing the surface. I still need to watch the tutorial to learn more, its just awesome!
Love it

I purchased the surface for work. It has decreased my paperwork time and increased productivity. It is so easy to use on the go. Also I have been using the Kindle app. The map app comes in handy. I am looking forward to taking it with me on vacation. I can work/read books/stay connected to email ect when away from home. The surface comes with word and excel pre loaded which saves you money it you don't have to load it. The surface has a long battery life and will charge very quickly. I am very happy with my purchase.

About Me Midrange Shopper
The Surface RT is easy to use, plenty of apps with more being added. I love playing Xbox live right from my tablet. With an easy transition to desktop and work mode. All the while listening to my favorite radio station. Quick and easy set up makes this the complete package for anyone.
I really enjoy this product

I wanted a tablet that would run the office main products. This tablet does it with ease. I like being able to select items from the start page & have it pop up instantly. It's great to have a computer that is easy to carry & a long life battery. I am disappointed that when IE is selected, from the start menu instead of from the desktop, it is difficult to move things as the normal menus items are not there.
Well Worth It

About Me High-end Shopper
I bought the Surface mostly for travel but it has worked its way into everyday use. Now the only times I use my ultrabook is when doing the business books or heavy writing or some CAD work. The Surface handles email, social networking, travel arrangements, internet, and writing. I am a journalist and the Surface came loaded with Office 2013 and it does most of what I need done quite nicely.

I am a real estate agent and the Surface Pro is perfect for my business. I can easily showcase local properties to prospective clients. I can easily bring up contracts and provide additional information about properties. The camera works great for taking pictures of property I preview. The detachable keyboard works well and I am a touch typist. I see other Ipad and tablet users struggling with their on-screen keyboard. MS Office is preinstalled on the unit which is great. I haven't tried cloud printing yet, but the sky's the limit!
I would buy this tablet again

This tablet was recommended to me by an associate, who stays "on top" of new technology items. He raved about his - vs - his i-pad, and insisted that I run, not walk to purchase one for myself! I usually do not jump on the bandwagon, but due to his insistence, I leaped before looking thoroughly, which is not my norm, and boy I am glad I did! The Surface is GREAT!
Serious Product

Had iPad III for 6 mos, sold it for the Surface. This is a serious product. Ipad seemed more like a toy (an expensive one). Surface bridges the gap between work and play. Certainly not as 'crisp' in comparable functions BUT has MS Office, full USB and microSD slot. Keyboard cover is a nice addition.Comments: - lots of apps but too many duds (an e-book should not be called an app) - Cannot do keyword searches in app store - this would be a joke if it weren't so serious. - Battery life is not as good BUT certainly good enough and charges MUCH faster (fine all day) - Screen resolution technically not as good, but I could not tell the difference. - Should be able to charge off PC USB - only wall outlet (not a big deal) - Windows 8 has learning curve BUT I like it the more I use itSummary: not as 'smooth' as iPad and Samsung Galaxy BUT I like it better overall and have recommended it.
Better than I thought it would be

Learning Windows 8 and transitioning to a tablet has been interesting. Thankful for blogs and online help from people experiencing similar issues. Portability has been an easy adjustment from lugging around a laptop. I was able to share a training video at a restaurant with someone in a discreet yet effective manner. Using a full size laptop would have been a distraction. Transferring all my Word and Excel documents with a flash drive provided a seamless transition. Still need some help learning more about how to get more out of this product. But it sure is a lot of fun!
