So far I've been able to use the mouse on a variety of surfaces and haven't had a problem. The set-up was easy and step-by-step. I love using a mouse over a the mousepad on a laptop, and since I have long fingers, those mini ones just don't cut it for me. Another plus for me is having one that plugs into the computer so it is less likely to get lost or scurry away, and not having to change batteries because I never have spares when I need them. I happen to like it so much, I've been contemplating buying one for my PC at work.

the scroll goes crazy and out of control "my old mouse I could set to scroll one line at a time if I wanted" this one you get what you get. too bad! also I set the button on the wheel to "close" and it wont do it most of the time and it will not close things like mail. at all.
It seems like most microsoft products you get only what they think you need and thats it. too bad if you want any control.

The mouse has these two side buttons which are in the way of normal use. I wind up hitting one of these two buttons and it moves the page forward or backward respectively. Overall, the buttons make this a problematic mouse.

Does an excellent job in gaming for year and half
but then performance gradually decreases just for
gaming but still fully functional for normal use.
Average gaming is 2-3 hours every day.
