Comments about Netgear® WNR2000 Wireless-N Router:
I had a Netgear Wireless G router and it worked great. Only downside was, wired, it maxed out at 54Mbit/s and my son's computer was getting about 19Mbit/s. Comcast give me 105Mbit/s.
I upgraded to the Netgeear N150 Router and tested. Wired jumped up to 95Mbits/s but the wireless dropped to 7Mbits/s. I had everything in the same places. I spent over an hour testing it myself and was not able to improve the speed. I contacted Netgear support, spent over an hour with them on the phone and was able to get it up to 14Mbit/s. I returned it.
I then upgraded to the Netgear 300 and out of the box, wired was also 95Mbit/s and the wireless was 21Mbit/s. Once I went into configuration and made the changes Netgear support had me make on the n150, it jumped up to 27Mb/s.
Before all of this - I tried a belkin router and had 2 die within weeks and will only buy the Netgear.
