Used this product for our home network instead of Verizon Fios Router for WiFi use. We constantly keep losing our WiFi connection with the Verizon Supplied Fios Router. We haven't had any issues with the Netgear Router and I would highly recommend it.

Am very pleased with the netgear router. It works well with both my mac and windows personal computers. The setup was extremely easy and not time consuming. And the really nice thing is that the password is printed on the unit itself, so if you forget the password or can't remember where you have it written down, it is readily available. The router works for our whole house, therefore when we have family members over, everyone can use a computer and not have to be in the same room. Am very willing to recommend this router to others.

This unit could not be setup using the instructions supplied with it. I finaly gave up and got excellent TECH SUPPORT on the phone. It took him about 3 tries and over an hour to get it to work in some back door way. Also,even though there is no driver provided on the CD, the install activity kept calling for it.
There ae many labels that came with the unit but there is no indication, in the instructions, as to where they should be used. I tried to get the WPS feature to work but it seemed to just lie there like a dead animal.

Very frustrating to spend one of the 2 nights I get to be home a week, fruitlessly, retrying to get good results from the material provided with the unit.

Once installed and checked out with the tech the unit seems to good enough for my needs. I have lots of concern about what will happen if something goes wrong.
