Nothing special, just works. Right size, right price.
Does the job great!

I've used this to tie together all of the CAT5 cable runs to the inside data box in my home. 1 run goes to router and cable modem, the others run to end devices: laptop, printer and various A/V electronics that require Internet connection (X360, TV, Blu-Ray). This switch automatically detected the router/modem run and did the appropriate cross-over electronically. This literally made the switch "plug-n-play". And it is FAST for me.

About Me Low bandwidth user
This product as far as the use that I have had to this time has proved to be okay. I would say that it will perform to my satisfaction and that I will be well pleased. From what I can tell my system is working at a higher rate of sped and all printers are communicating as they should

A good useful item for your network

This item is a good tool for expansion of your home nework. Easily installed. Hook up the power and add your network to it and expand away. No real setup or software to install. Connect and you are done. Maintains gigabit across all devices that will accept gigabit connectivity and will adjust for the slower rate network cards in older devices. In general a good tool for expansion.
Performs as advertised

Bought this device to replace one (different brand) that had worked for years, but finally failed.Plugged it in, attached the ethernet cables, and it worked. That's all I ask....Other than hopefully it will prove to be as reliable as the other Netgear devices I have been using have been.
