easy to use

Comments about Netgear® WNR1000 RangeMax® 150 Wireless Router:

This is an easy to use out of the box wireless router. I am using it to connect my tablet to a printer. Set up is so simple. Plug everything in and just put in the wireless password and the connection is done. I have bought around 5 of these now and I use them for my clients to connect Point of Sale terminals and printers. The price from Staples is a very good offer. I haven't found it any cheaper anywhere else. Even if you are not tech savvy, you will be able to use this product to connect devices wirelessly.

Perfect for the small office

Comments about Netgear® WNR1000 RangeMax® 150 Wireless Router:

If this router would unpack itself from the box, there would be almost nothing else to do in setting it up. Plugged it in, turned it on and opened Google Chrome. It asked me a few easy questions and I was done. We have four devices running on it and there have been zero issues. Very nice in our small office.

        Comments about Netgear® WNR1000 RangeMax® 150 Wireless Router:

I was upgrading my netgear Wireless-G router with this new Wireless-N 150. I had already confirmed that all the Tables, Game System, TV, and so one were Wireless N. I even bought my kids PC a netgear 150 adapter.

I know that comcast provides 105Mbps to my house. I had confirmed this by plugging in directly to my cable modem. Got 97Mbps( every happy)

I replace benchmarked my son's PC (wireless), and on the old router got 25Mbps. I then benchmarked my PC (wired), and got 47Mbps.

I replaced it and benchmarked my PC (wired) and got a 96Mbps. Much better then the old. I then benchmarked my son's pc. I got a 1.05Mbps. TERRIBLE. I spend the next hour testing and playing. No luck. Called Netgear spent another hour and got it up to 15Mbps.

I was then told to take it back my netgear. NOT WORTH THE EFFORT. Back to using my wireless g and happy I got my money back.

        Comments about Netgear® WNR1000 RangeMax® 150 Wireless Router:

My other router was having connection issues and was acting like dial-up. So I replaced it with this one. I'm always looking to save some money, so this purchase was an easy decision. Setup was a breeze. Plug-and-play only, unless you need to setup with a wi-fi password and/or change the pre-existing wi-fi name it comes with. It also leaves an icon on the desktop so you'll know if there are any problems. I have had this for about a week now and have not had any issues with it so far. Highly recommended.

        Comments about Netgear® WNR1000 RangeMax® 150 Wireless Router:

This router has gone to my summer home where there is absolutely no internet around. I am using this so I can have Wifi. It is connected to a modem using Time Warner, which was recently bought out by Comcast. So things may change in the future.
I have no issues with this router. It was easy to hook up. We did it ourselves and was able to get the internet up and running to our laptops.
