I bought this router at the advice of the tech advisors at Staples because I wanted to upgrade from the 150 I was currently using. I thought it would give me a little more range but I have the same signal as before. I think it is a little faster than before but really not as much as I expected.

I have had Netgear for many years now and have not had any problems with them .Always get fast connections. I like the looks of them .With the push to connect it makes it a lot easer to set it up .It was very easy to connect my nook and my Granddaughters nabi up . Then I got a phone that I can hook up to . All I did was push the button .

This was our second netgear, the first one kept disconnecting and the clerk assured us that it was probably bad from the factory and that Netgear was the best. This one does the same thing and you have to reconnect and if that doesn't work it takes you to a link to "fix the problem" Very annoying at the least. Our next one will not be a Netgear.

I have always had great success with Netgear products. This is no exception. Our old router died after 6 years of service and of course at a bad time. Ran to Staples, picked it up and was back in business as fast as I could get it out of the box. Netgear Genie is a really nice plus to help manage the network. Easy to use as well.
ReadyShare is also a great option, but I haven't set it up yet. Instructions look simple, so I don't doubt we'll use it.
Can't find anything to say which is bad about this router. Gets the job done with the speed we need.

Netgear has great products and fantastic customer support. I have tried several brands of routers before and have never been happy with any of them. Replaced a D-link, whose customer service is a joke. Their products are even worse. I cut to the chase and called Netgear for Tech Support when I set it up because I didn't want to spend any time guessing and they got me up and running in no time. Streams beautifully and runs fast. If you don't want to mess around with all the inferior brands and models that claim to stream and browse at the same time this is the guy that actually does it.
