This item was purchased to hold hot water for hot tea or hot cocoa.

Unfortunately, 20-minutes after the water has gone through the Bunn Unit, it is barely tepid.

I like the size of the insulated decanter; however, if it is unable to keep water hot, it doesn't serve the purpose intended.

We use this to keep a pot of coffee/tea hot so the coffee maker can be used for a second pot. Keeps beverages piping hot for hours.
Most useful feature is it will hold an entire 12 cups from our coffee maker carafe.

#1. Does not keep coffee hot.
#2. Can't tell how much is left.
#3. When low, hard to pour, often spills everywhere.
#4. Must be very careful when brewing or will not brew though top.
#5. Does not keep coffee hot.
#6. Cannot put in dishwasher.

The construction is sturdy, but otherwise, I give it a D.
