We will be looking for another product. We have used this product for several years and the quality has become worse and worse. The recent purchase we made will be the last as far as this product. Very disappointed!!!

What a piece of junk. I wish I had read the review before buying. I purchased 2 of these to display some certificates but the quality is so poor that I am embarassed to use them. They are constructed of MDF (medium density fiberboard) covered with a thin PLASTIC faux wood veneer. This item looks cheap and is not worth the price of shipping (free) let alone [$] each. I will be rethinking my office supply source from now on if Staples thinks this will pass for value.

In total, we've ordered about 30 of these to give out during various ceremonies at work. Do not waste your money!! The one available in the staples store is of much better quality. This one has holes on the plastic display cover and on the board, but they don't line up! Also, the holes are SO LARGE that the thumb tack that's given is swimming in it. This means that the thumb tack will not stay put. (Imagine having a huge hole in your wall, and trying to stick a nail in there to hang a photo from - uh, not going to work.) Honestly, it is really sad that these plaques were made just to end up in the landfill. I'm sorry mother earth, I'm very sorry.

Four the past 17 years I have been ordering between 25 to 30 plaques ,twice a year. I have seen the quality of this product continue to go downhill and the price continue to increase. The last order I received 6 plaques that I could not use. I've already sent an e-mail to Staples on this matter, but have not received a response from them, as yet. That was over a week ago.. I would like to know how I can get my money back for the 6 plaques that I cannot use. The event that I used these for was held on October 20, 2011. Needless to say, I will be looking for another place to purchase awards plaques of better quality.

The plaques in the store have a much better quality see through faceplate.

Preparing to present awards mounted on the plaque found that none of the five had the "decorative pins" that were supposed to be there to mount the certificates. Ended up using small brass nails to be able to honor the kids.

Very professional looking, without paying the "professional" prices. The blue protective covering was hard to remove from the clear plastic cover, but otherwise a very easy process. A hammer is needed.

We use these plaques to honor people in the community who go above and beyond the call of duty. We have designed a special Iris Award that is unique to our NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Pinellas County, Florida, affiliate. The frame makes it look very attractive and is appropriate to be displayed at home, office, etc. Excellent product for price.
