I ordered 22 of these for an award presentation and out of this number, 4 were unusble due to the fact that the holes were drilled in the wrong place, making it impossible for all 4 holes to be anchored down at once.

We present these plaques to students as awards at many of our programs. We've been using them for years and seen a couple revisions to the design. The latest revision has serious flaws.

Con: The pre-bored holes are too deep so the decorative brads are just that, decorative. You can not hammer them into the wood, so if you hold the plaque up or turn it upside down, the brads fall out and so does the document.

Pro and Con: They recently revised the plastic sheeting that covers the acrylic faceplate. It was a blue sheeting that was easy to see, but difficult to remove from the brad holes. Now the sheeting is clear so it's hard to see that it is on both sides of the acrylic, but it does peel off a lot more cleanly.
