I use my fax as my business phone as I don't do a lot of faxing. This cartridge and fax type are perfect for minimal fax use. I chose this type fax machine as it also has an answering component.

I didn't want an all-in-one as I prefer separate laser and color printers and already had a copier.

I have never had a problem using the cartridge. If the ribbon shifts in shipping, you can just tap it against a table and it will fall right in place. The Staples brand replacement also works well with my fax machine if this one is not available.

Not available in Staples stores,had to be ordered at store.
Should be stocked as an in-store item, there is a Staples brand that does not work for me.
