We use pencils for our check payment & deposit register. Other mechanical pencils don't erase well or the lead breaks off very easily. This pencil erases cleanly and the lead breaks off only so often. I think it is a good value for the money. However, I would get a better pencil if using for writing.

LOVE these pencils. With the button for the lead on the side, it takes some getting used to, but it's easier in the long run. I like having different color options so I know whose pencil is whose. Excellent product!
