Much,much better than other penicils.I think they're made in Canada or US,better quality,price higer but overall very easy to sharpen and don't breake easly.

These pencils are used by office and maintenance staff. They have a nice dark smooth writing lead, but the positive also creates a negative. It can be difficult to erase completely.

My main concern was to find a pencil that would sharpen without lead breaks. Other reviews said this pencil fit that bill. They were 100% correct. I have added this particular pencil to my favorites. With 3 elementary school age kids, pencils are important!

These pencils have changed since the last time I ordered them. The outide is GREEN, not yellow, so my coworkers avoid using them since they think the lead will be green in color. The lead breaks easily, especially when sharpening, so by the time it is sharpened there is only half a pencil left. This is not very economical and certainly not good for the planet. I think I will avoid buying these for a while.

Disappointed to find that the pack of a dozen EarthWrite pencils received today do not have the PMA non-toxic certification seal on them, and were made in Mexico, not the USA.
