have used erasermates for long time, I am a advid crossword buff and really used them daily. The new style is not nearly as good, and in fact I and my friend just bought several and took them back. sometimes you shoul leave well enough alone!

These pens do smear right after putting the ink to the paper. However, once it dries (a couple minutes) it no longer smears. The best part is that the ink is erasable for a few days and then it does become permenant.

        I use these pens all the time. It is so great to be able to erase a mistake rather than cross a letter or word out or start over.
        They are erasable for a period of time and then become permanent so you can actually use them for any purpose.
        Your work looks much neater. No smudging, good grip. It would be nice if it had a rubber grip if you are doing a lot of writing at one time but overall, I love these pens.
