Comfortable, large barreled pen

Comments about Papermate Paper Mate PHD Retractable Ballpoint Pens; Black Cherry Barrel:
I tend to hold my pens very tightly. I vise-grip them, pretty much, and I always end up with pain in my ring finger after extended use of other pens. This pen's triangular grip is very comfortable and I do not have any pain when using it. I also prefer large barreled pens and this one is perfect!

Bought two. One ran out of ink in less than a month. The other one seems to be going strong.Absolutely love the shape and weight of the pens.

Much better than the Multi-function pen
By Mark
from Tempe, AZ
The ink cartridge on this pen is much better than the one in the PhD multifunction pen. Since PaperMate started outsourcing their ink cartridges, the ink cartridges in the multifunction pen stop working in over half the cartridges I buy. PaperMate will send you replacement cartridges, but I would prefer better quality.
Papermate PhD pen

I suffer from several musculo-skeletal issues, mainly carpotunnel. Using this pen has decreased the pain I suffer from writing for long periods of time. There is something to be said for an ergonomically correct pen. This is it!
