We thought we were ordering real pencils and tried to sharpen them. The script is so light we had a hard time reading it. We threw them away and bought a box of real #2 pencils. Will remember that you sell the fakes and be more careful next time.

This has been my favorite pencil for many years. I use one of these pencils many times during each day. I love the eraser because it doesn't smudge. I have one of these pencils at my desk and kitchen table as well as in my purse. I never hesitate to introduce this product to friends. Once they find the ease and quality of these pencils they thank me and generally feel the same as I do about the quality of this product. My grandchildren have also become users of this product on a regular basis.

As a high school business education teacher for over 24 years, I haveused many different writing instruments. Lead pencils with at least a point seven thickness are among my very favorite. With some lead pencils I have difficulty erasing but not with the papermate. I remember when these pencils first came out and they were the only ones mmy mother who was also a teacher would let us purchase. To follow the tradition I now purchase these pencils for my own daughter who is currently in the ninth grade.

This a great pencil for multiple uses. It is so superior to other mechanical pencils that is is the only kind I purchase. I purchase them 12 to a box so that I always have them available. I keep one handy in all locations in the house where I write. This includes the coffee table for crossword puzzles, television notes and logs, the kitchen table for shopping lists and health logs, the study for serious writing and for keeping garden notebooks, the home office for forms and checking taxes, each of the computers for online note taking and comparison shopping data, and the wood working shop to draw project plans and to make lists of needed materials.
