I don't buys my pen refills, but when I do it is a Parker. When it is a gift or just a happy memory you want to keep it alive. Parker is making if happen.

I use mainly two brands of ballpoint pens, Cross and Parker. I do a lot of paperwork, including the filling out of forms. Both brands of pens have served me well. There is a new brand I have been trying, made by Zebra, a model F-701 and it seems to also be a good pen. Sorry, that's all I can say about the refill.

This refill meets our needs and is an excellent product. We use a lot of refills in our everyday business. It very good quality.

I have used the same model of Parker pen since 1979. I will not use another brand, nor model (I have to get them on the secondary market, until they relaunch my model.)

However, since they started manufacturing the Quink-flow refill, made in France, I only get 20-23 days of use from each refill. I have never had this problem in the past 30-odd years, and it is very disheartening.

The ink and ball qualities are FINE, but the longevity or capacity is pathetic. In October, when the last of my non-Quink-flow stock ran out, I purchased one refill in store. After less than three weeks, I returned it, thinking it was defective. After another three weeks, it was dry, so I ordered online. I got the same results.

Each time, whether purchased in store or online, I cannot get over 23 days of ink. I am the bookkeeper for my husband's family-owned retail store, so I write checks, fill in forms, document orders, and a few other manual deeds. I do not write novels, I do not write inspection reports, nor do I draw elaborate doodles in the margins. I use my pen for work.

I want Parker to change this product. Either fill the cartridge more, or change the formula or design of the cartridge, whatever is causing this short life. I have been keeping my empties, dated with time of use, and will send them to Parker, eventually, so they will be aware of the issue.

Until then, I am buying by the half dozen.

While selecting this product, I searched the packaging to find the phrase "Parker Jotter compatable" or something similar, but There was no such wording. I went by the memory of what the refill looked like (the Parker Jotter pen has been on the market for a long time) as I haven't needed a refill for a long time and wanted to get the right one the first time. It appears that I was right, but I wasn't sure. It turned out to be correct. Maybe there is only this one refill available, I don't know.
The Parker Jotter pen is the best writing instrument as far as I am concerned.

I've always preferred high-quality pens with replaceable cartridges to throw-away pens. As a left-hander, I need a high quality ink to prevent smearing. I've used Parker pens for over thirty years.

I've always ranked Parker as second best in pens, behind Sheaffer & Pilot. But this refill fits the bill as first rate. Smooth and precise, never a smear, glides well. Recommended
