              These are the best erasers for smudge free removal of mistakes. They dont tear the paper, discolor the paper or damage the paper as long as the paper is held tight while erasing. These erasers when used on the top of a mechanical pencil make writing with a pencil a please versus a chore. My son has been using this type of eraser in school for 6 years and will not use any other brand, however he does use other types manufactured by this vendor. Fortunately they now have cap erasers so even you can convert a normal pencil to an excellent writing instrument.

                    I am self employed as a residential and commercial Independant Paving Consultant. I have worked for two major construction companies over the past twenty six years as an estimator/project manager and had the opportunity to try every type of eraser on the market. As an estimator we are always making sketches of projects and a good clean crisp eraser is vital to a quality finished product. I have found Pentel Hi-Polymer eraser to not only do an excellent job as an eraser, but also they are easy on the pocket book. I love this product!!! These are the only eraser i will buy.

                          best eraser EVER! this seriously erases every pencil mark, and it doesn't leave a lot of that stringy-after-erase-residue if you know what i mean. It glides across the paper effortlessly. you don't have to put all your energy pressing down on the eraser to erase like many others. It's also super sturdy and doesn't bend or break in half after a few uses. it also lasts pretty long too! i think one eraser "block" lasts me an entire school year. this is hands down, my favorite eraser ever!
