Love this pen! Writes Great!
Wow! My new favorite GO TO Pen!!!

The pen itself is a very stylish pen. The top part is made of plastic except for the Clicker button and the clip which are both metal. The outer shell is a clear plastic over a silver-grey center plastic piece. The bottom part is silver-grey metal covered with the coloration boot followed by the gel grip. This pen has a nice, balanced feel in your hand both to hold and to write. It comes with the standard Black fill ink and the gel ink in this 1 millimeter ball tip glides smoothly and evenly. There is a bit of splotching here and there, but not enough to detract from the writing experience OR presentation. There are Blue refills and the blue is a rich and appealing color of blue. If you like easy & efficient writing along with ink that flows well, this pen and refill combination is worth it. Just remember to purchase the Black or Blue Center of Gravity Dr. Grip refills as the regular refills for the G2 line and the regular Dr. Grip set will not fit the Center of Gravity pens.Other reviews I have read both here and at other webstores point out a small problem to which I agree with, and that is the rejoining of the pen from 2 halves to one whole unit. There seems to be a "loosening or slacking" with normal refill wear and tear. I recommend regular plumber's tape (you know, the kind that you use on faucets, shower nozzles, and garden hoses to keep the water from dripping out of the joint in the hose or faucet?) It takes a bit of doing to get it in there and the cap screwed back on, BUT once that is done, you won't have to worry about overscrewing or stripping the screwthreads. That truly is the only downside except for perhaps a little more attention could have been paid to the actual LOOK of the pen. The clear gel grip on the bottom diffuses the barrel color and takes away from the truly elegant look and design of the top part of the pen.In other words, if the pen is in your shirt pocket and you are wearing a sports coat or suit, it looks GREAT. Pull that same pen out and use it in front of a prospective client, it MAY detract from an otherwise elegant, and rich looking pen. But hey! Aren't we about economy and pragmatism here?! Of course we are. If you are looking for a GREAT and consistent writing experience with good, reliable results on paper which feature a stylish, well-balanced writing instrument, this is a GOOD choice for this price point. After I bought my first one to try it out, I bought 2 more like it and bought the Dr. Grip Center of Gravity FULL BLACK version. You can see my other review concerning that pen by searching for it here at Staples online and looking for my nym (same as the one on this review).I took the liberty of hand-writing BOTH of my reviews for each of these pens prior to typing them into a word processor and then cutting and pasting the words into the review form. My hand NEVER got tired or developed cramping or soreness as a result of hand-writing 6-8 pages of notes! For me? THAT's the BEST part!!! No cramping or soreness in the hand; a well-balanced writing instrument that glides as you write across the page; and consistent, reliable results on paper time and again! Finally, I gave it 4 stars only for the coloration of the gel grip is the only detraction I can find that isn't "fixable" within my power. Thank you for your time. I hope you enjoy this pen as much as I do! :-) (Yes, I LOVE a GOOD writing instument!)
love it

Cool pen, love the comfort grip and it glides on paper smooth like butter. The pen has a bit of weight to it so that takes a little getting use too, but makes it feel like one of those more expensive pens.

We have bought lots of cheap pens for our office, but they all just dry out, sometimes before we even start to use them. They just wind up in the trash. In my opinion, it's worth the extra money for a pen that writes well and keeps working.
Love love love!!!

I found my pen. I've tried alot of pens, Pilot Dr. Grip Neon and Zebra Spiral, but Pilot Dr. Grip Center of Gravity is the best for me. I think everyone who have L-sized hand will agree with me :)This pen writes smoothly, the ink is vivid and dries quickly. Holding pen comfortable, even for many hours.
I loveee this pen!

I lovee that this pen writes soo smoothly. I love that this pen is retractable..it makes it so much fun to play with when i'm reading something. The grip is comfortable, but i wish it was purple instead of pink. This pen does however blot a lot of ink. I had to hold the pen upside down when i wasn't using it to prevent it from blotting.
