Need fat pen

Comments about Pilot Dr. Grip LTD. Retractable Gel Rollers; Platinum Barrel:
Always need a fat grip pen due to arthritis in the fingers. This pen fits comfortably but it takes a while to dry and smears since a gel pen.
Most Comfortable Pen Ever
By Dr. Connie
from San Diego, CA
About Me Quality Oriented
The Dr. Grip is the only pen I have found that has real and comfortable smoothness on the grip. It is ergonomically the best pen on the market. The comfort grip is also gel-soft, reminding me of the materials used in occupational hand therapy. All the other pens have some sort of texture in the grip, and a harder surface in the grip, that consistently irritates my fingers. Having undergone both carpal tunnel release(s) and nerve repair surgeries on my right hand, I find that the long-term issue for me is continuing sensitivity in my fingers and hand fatigue when I write. To use a standard ballpoint for anything other than a quick signature creates rapid onset of hand fatigue. With the Dr. Grip, the gel ink flows easily and I don't have to use force/pressure (as with a ballpoint and regular ink) to write clearly, beautifully, and for extended periods of time. The Dr. Grip gel-ink pen has been a lifesaver for me. I highly recommend it for anyone with hand issues, or who simply needs a comfortable pen for regular use. If you let someone borrow your pen, be prepared to hear words of amazement and accolades on your pen's comfort and beauty. Also, make sure you get your pen back. Once people 'borrow' the Dr. Grip gel-ink pen, they don't want to give it back!

Nice pen, terrible service
By MNShopper
from Bloomington, MN
This pen wasn't carried in the store, so I ordered 2 online with free shipping to my local store. The pens arrived in two days, which was fine. I received an email that the pens were available. When I went to the Bloomington, MN store to pick them up, the check out clerk was totally bewildered and sent me to the service counter. The person at the service counter was rude and said I could go back to the check out line or wait until he was free. I found the manager who located the pens directly behind the check out clerk. I generally like Staples, but this is the second time the staff in this store have been rude. With several competitors nearby in more convenient locations, I will shop elsewhere.

After hand surgery for arthritis I thought I would never be able to find a writing instrument to consistently meet my needs. Along comes Dr. Grip with the perfect prescription. I think I'm in love.
