I have owned the pilot pen that uses this refill for over 12 years and I keep buying the refills and it keeps on writing. I am a CPA and use it for all purposes and have a replacement pen waiting if this one breaks.

I love this pen and refill. I use it for business in blue because tic marks are easy to spot for corrections or verification. I keep one in my purse for personal use I have put them in my family's stockings at Christmas. Everyone I have given them to loves them. At work I know it is my pen so if it disappears off my desk I know who has it. Anyone that uses it at work while at my desk, wants it so I have to watch for sticky fingers. I have used the same pen since they came on the market and keep getting my refills.

I bought both the pen and the refill, so I'm commenting more on the pen. I haven't had to use the refill yet.

At meetings, I like to have a pen that doesn't look cheap but that doesn't cost so much that I get upset if I lose it, which I often do. This is among the best-looking of the cheaper pens. It also has a comfortable grip.
