We love these pens. They write very smoothly and crisply, leaving marks that are very easy to read even after documents have been faxed or scanned. I ordered them on a special, prepared to defend them based on not being too much more than the stick pens that were the standard here before. The only thing I ever heard from my boss was, "we're almost out of those great black pens. Be sure to order more."

At First, I thought my new scanner/copier was at fault. You've all occasionally had the problem with those long black streaks running the whole length of a copy. In my case it turns out that the cause was wet ink from my signature on letters or handwritten notes on other documents. As they passed over the sight glass they left smears on it. Hence the black lines.

This wasn't the exact pen I was looking for, but it is a good pen. It may not be the pens fault that it doesn't glide smoothly or that it skips since our documents are 3 pages thick.
