Pilot G-2 pens are simply the best gel pens made. I frequently use the tiny 038, 05 and 07 sizes; preferring 038 and 05. On good paper and shirt pockets, the gel ink rarely creeps or blots. The line never skips. The tip rarely, if ever, accumulates a blob of ink that so commonly occurs with regular ball point pens. The pen barrel design fits to your fingers and hand making it extremely comfortable, even when writing for extended periods. Note that the 038 pen has an extremely small point. And with some papers, it may catch and tear the paper. That's it! Again, the best gel pen!

I've been writing sports areticles, and doing 'stats' for many years now and the quality of a pen is very important to me. I like a fine point and I use a variety of colors for my work. Don't need 400 words to tell you that I like the Pilot .38. thanks. Bill

Like I posted about this pen in black ink... Working as a Ctirical Care RN, writing on small lines and in even smaller boxes... Bold, Fat, Markers and Pens just don't cut it for me. I need a pen with a smooth, thin, fast drying ink. This pen fits the bill with room to spare. One word of caution, Be careful of who you loan it to... Once mine are loaned to someone I am usually chasing it down the Hallway...

This is another outstanding G2 pen by Pilot. It is the ultra fine point blue color version. The G2 line of Pilot pens are outstanding. The colors are bright, the pen does not skip. The gel ink is nice because it rarely bleeds onto your shirt or pants pocket if you place it there unretracted. For the .05 and .07 sizes, they have refills available. In regards to the .038 ultra fine point, it is remarkable smooth writer for such a tiny point. I thought it might catch on the paper, but it doesn't. It also worked well taking notes on "Rite in the Rain" paper. Remarkable!

I use this pen in the .38 as I have to write on log sheets where the area is very small. The fine line - Ultra Fine point writes in a smooth manner and allows me to include a lot of information in a small area. Love this Pen!! I purchase this same pen in various colors so I have many to choose from. A very good pen for the value.

I started with the .7, progressed to the .5 and now find that the .38 is my favorite! Amazing ability to write small and in tight places.
