These pens are absolutely terrific for left-handers. Ink dries instantly on normal paper & doesn't smudge as my hand passes over it, and the tip writes normally over a wide range of contact angles. I don't like scoring papers in red, so these are my favorite.

The only two downsides: first, the ink is *not* a good choice for shiny coated paper, as it dries very slowly and is subject to smudging for a long time (minutes). Second, these pens absolutely hemorrhage ink if opened in the cabin of an airplane. (They'll make the trip fine if tightly capped from takeoff to landing.) The ink reservoir must be pressurized to keep the ink flowing well.
