          I started using an earlier model of these in college over 10 years ago and have been hooked on them since. They are one of the most consistent writing pens I've found and are quite comfortable to use. I don't find myself writing for long periods at a time anymore so I'm unsure of the comfort over extended writing periods.

          It is liquid ink so there is a possibility of smearing but the ink dries quickly enough that it is rarely an issue (only time I ever notice is if I brush my hand against the ink as I go back and underline a just written word or the like). Also due to liquid ink they can leak when in use during flights due to pressure changes but I've never had one leak in a bag and have traveled extensively with them.

          Overall an outstanding pen and the only real problem is once you start writing with them you won't want to go back to other pens! Most people who borrow my pens are very reluctant to give them back!

          I have used these pens for years. It has an extra fine point and it writes extremely easy with constant ink flow. I marvel at how fine the point is, yet I can apply normal pressure/grip to the pen and it still retains the fine lines when writing. I have given these pens to friends because I enjoy using them so much. I just hope PILOT never decides to discontinue them.
