The product is RAM memory. Worked fine thus far. I have never had any problems with this manufacturer in the past, so I am hoping this time will be no different.

PNY RAM
By Chris
from Richmond, VA
Everything I read said I should expect far greater speed and performance with this upgrade, especially if I was doubling my RAM. I guess there is only so much you can expect with an older PC compared to new equipment. I did have to go to the store twice, my initial visit and a 2nd time to bring a competitors advertisement at a MUCH lower price and my Staples Reward card to get all the discounts and matched pricing.

I wish it were cheaper but it installs as easily as any other memory upgrade, is recognized at boot up and used automatically by my varied OSes and applications.
Staples tech staffer came to my rescue
By Rennie
from Chappaqua, NY
My wonderful 7 year old IBM PC required additional RAM. Lenovo said they discontinued making the 1 GB chips I needed but had some left for $1,000. Turned to online source, which sold me two it said were compatible. THEY WERE NOT. Went to my Staples to tell tech staffer about my dilemma. Staples did have suitable chips for me--AT ONLY [$]. I bought and installed them. He was correct about their suitability and my PC now works faster. Staples' guy--and Staples' merchandise--came to my rescue!
