The PNY Professional 8GB SD (SDHC) Class 10 Flash Memory Card by PNY Technologies is an excellent memory card for high speed photos and videos. We use them in our Nikon 35mm as well as our Sony video cam. We have gone out of our way on vacations to find a Staples store just to purchase additional PNY cards like this one. It is difficult to find high speed cards except at stand alone camera shops which are becoming rare to find. We never have to be concerned since Staples are located nationwide. The 8GB has plenty of memory but not so large that it takes forever to find one picture. We hope Staples never stops selling this particular PNY card as we have purchased dozens over the years.

We have purchased your PNY professional 8GB SD (SDHC)class 10 flash memory card for several years and hope you continue to sell them. It is difficult to find high speed cards except at specialty camera stores. When traveling we have looked up local Staples stores just to purchase these cards. They are just the right memory size for our Nikon SLR camera with the quality class 10 speed to take multiple frames per second. We also use the same cards for our Sony Handy Cam video recorder. Again the memory size is perfect allowing us to access pictures without having thousands of shots to sort through as experienced in larger card sizes. We certainly hope you continue to stock this exact same card for years to come.

My camera does not recognize this card. Other cards (by different makers) do work. I do not know if this brand is bad, or if this specific card is bad. I'm not willing to buy another to find out.

I was pleased with my new PNY Professional 8 GB SD Flash Memory Card by PNY Technologies
The PNY card may have been designed for the enthusiast and pro photographer, however as a hobbiest I do appreciate the speed the card writes also the Professional Series SDHC card from PNY is designed for high speed, high capacity, continuous mode shooting from your digital SLR and HD video
I had been videoing the humming birds at the feeders and this can take a lot of memory not to count for the swiftness of the little birds can't wait til this spring to start videoing again

Bought this memory card to store family pictures for a picture frame. It was very easy to add several hundred pictures for our enjoyment.

It took me a long time to understand, and appreciate the differences enough to be willing to pay for the extra speed with the class 10 cards. Once I experienced the difference there is no going back. Friends say it is way to expensive and I agree if you only look at the cash value however Expense can be found in other places too. It is my choice to pay for the expense in $$ rather than in the lost photo or the hassle of carting other cards with me when I go on vacation. This card gives me the freedom and reliability I need. It is hard to find clerks that know about the difference and UNDERSTAND the difference. You do not have to purchase 8 GB to find a fast class 10 card. It is worth the effort to find and try.
