About Me Semi Pro
Comments about PNY Technologies Memory Card; SDHC, Optima, 16GB:
While my personal use laptop contains 6GB of Ram... one can never have enough memory available, especially if you're like me: doing nineteen tasks at one time. Long live multi-tasking. Previously I utilized a USB/flash drive for my ReadyBoost purposes then realized that attach/detach was becoming cumbersome let alone having the drive sticking out into the aisle at my favorite coffee shop was a disaster waiting to happen!! Realizing that my lap had an SD card slot that I had never used, I began researching which cards were ReadyBoost capable. I only needed to research one brand. Wanna guess which?!?
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

PNY Premium sd card

I purchased this card to use in my camera and it has been nothing but trouble. it keeps telling me to format it when it is already formatted then it doesn't want to work with my computer It stops working in the middle of taking pictures and i have to be careful not to lose the pictures i have already taken. I have purchased cards of this brand before and had no trouble. so I think that this is just a fluke I have also found that the case seems to be lose and when I try to put it in the card reader on my computer it doesnt want to read. so you know I will be taking this card back to staples.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Professional
I purchased the PNY Premium 16GB SD (SDHC) Class 4 Flash Memory Card by PNY Technologies because I needed cross-platform portability to archive a massive accumulation of songs and a three act opera libretto. I needed reliability, but am also working with a limited budget. The PNY Premium is simple to use in an inexpensive card reader, and I feel confident that I will be able to archive this project without a hitch. With 30 years worth of material on one small memory card, searching for particular keywords, organizing it all into categories and cross-references will replace a huge stack of disorganized folders, various data discs, old zip drives and paper filled binders. By not having this archive locked into a machine, and by backing up onto a second (or even third) memory card, I don't have to fear computer crashes or other loss of the computer along with years of work.
