this unit works better than the printer combo that I had it was an HP4 in one the ink in this one is a littel cheaper than the HP &tis one seens to be eaiser to use for fax printer from my computer & copying I would reccomend this unit to any one interested in a 3 in 1 unit it is light wight & very easy to set up I just hope it lasts as long as I tald it wood by the sales people at Stasples said it wood, so far we are very happy with the unit & we are working pretty hard at this time, the printing quality seems to be better than the HP.

My old shredder just wasn't working anymore and I decided to get a higher capacity unit. I researched Consumer Reports and this shredder was listed as a best buy. The set-up was simple and the shredder not only works well but shreds items much faster than my old one. As an added bonus this shredder is much quieter than the old one. Another thing that I like about this shredder is that I can line the basket with a plastic trash bag so I no longer have to vacuum the floor after emptying the basket. I do wish the basket was a bit taller though because the shredded paper tends to pile up in the center and this makes the shredder shut off because it thinks the basket is full. So, I just lift the top and redistribute the paper and everything is fine.

As a means of transporting files and back up of files from my computer this small portable device really accomplishes the job at a relatively small price. In the past I would have had to purchase a portable external drive to copy files and store them off site for protection which was no where as small and robust for usage. With a different unit for the various types of files I am certain of secure storage to protect from fire or theft of my computer. If I am traveling I can recall information to be used on different computers using the same programs. If I find something of interest I need only to employ a fresh or clean unit in the USB of the current computer to copy files or programs to import to my machine at my own desk. Fantastic flexability!

I have found it always pays to back up everything. We had our house broken into a couple of months ago. We had just come back from 2 weeks in Denmark and Sweden and our camera was still lying out from the trip with all 500+ pictures on it . We backed up the pictures the day after we returned. 2 days later our home was broken into while we were at work. Always backup everthing you want to save.I would not have been able to share all these pictures with ore frinds and coworkers.But most of all we could not have shared them with my mother in law who is from Denmark.

We wanted the ability to print from our laptop without continually having to connect to our desktop. And being able to print directly from our phones is a great plus!!! Easy to install and operate. I am a fan of hp products and this one has lived up to HP's reputation. The scanner is wonderful-quick and easy to use. Having one product to do wireless printing, standard printing, scanning, etc!!! Thank you HP for another great product-HP photosmart 7520 e-all in one!
