Great for children who are autistic
Comments about Learning Resources® Hand Pointers; 15, Set of 10:
My son is autistic. He sees about seven therapists every week. He is only two years old, but has been receiving support since he was born. It was confirmed that the struggle to get him to talk has to do with autism. Thus, he has been receiving special attention. We are teaching him sign language and get certain material objects to get him to speak. His occupational therapist wants him to learn how to point and use his direction finger. I seen this hand pointer at Staples and immediately thought of my son and learning how to point. He does not hit anyone with it, I am still at the process point of him learning how to use this object just like anything else. So far we are making great progress and his therapists are very excited to know that they could get their own Hand Pointer at a Staples near their area.
