This is so much better than our older machine. Plus it keeps the time for you. We did notice that if you work over 13hrs it clocks you in again. We just put the card back thru and it clocks you out. I need to read the manual to see if that can be changed but other than that it's a perfect machine.

This was the worst experience with a time clock ever. We purchased the Pyramid 4000 in September the company replaced it the following June because it constantly gave us error codes (jamming). It would also go back & stamp over previous punches. The company replaced it again in July & that one does not work either. We are going elsewhere for a new time clock. Nothing against Quill. This time clock is Junk.

I purchased one of these several months ago for one of our businesses and it works great. It is easy to set up and easy for the staff to use. It adds the time for me which is a real timesaver! I am ordering another one today for one of our other businesses.

Easy to use and set up. So much easier to figure employee hours, as it is added up for me! Only have had it for 2 weeks, but haven't had any issues.

The Pyramid 4000 time clock works exactly as advertised. We have a landscape company with 40 to 50 employees and it saves us a lot of time calculating the weekly time for each employee.

We love this machine. It does everything it states it will do. We average 22-26 employees and the totalizing feature is a great asset. The only downside for us is that we are a mining operation which generates a lot of dust which really chokes up the electronics. We tried the extended warranty but took a lot of arguing with warranty and 2-3 months to get machine back, so we just bypass all that now and replace the machine about every 3 years. We just ordered our third machine so that tells you it is worth it to us!

This is our second 4000 time clock. The first lasted several years before the printhead wore out (we have 20 employees who punch daily). We have had this one only about a year and it has been terrible since purchase. Since it was ordered online, Staples would not accept the return at the store. Prints poorly, no printing at all on the left side (date side) of the time card. We have changed the ribbon without ANY improvement. Do not purchase this time clock.

We own a restaurant, have about 60 employees,its been used hard for 6 years, the machine has worked well. Going to replace it with the 4000HD because it is starting to get hard to read the cards. Hopefully will get as many years out of this Heavy duty one or more. No complaints at all with this machine.
