Comments about Quartet Euro Total Erase Marker Board with Grid; 36Hx48W:
I've seen lots of reviews on how straight melamine has a lot of ghosting especially if you leave your marking pen marks for any extended period of time. I got this board because Quartet says that this has a better coating on the melamine to prevent ghosting and they consider this board their "Medium Quality." This sucker has ghosting if you write on/wipe off. So after a couple of weeks of intermittent use but constant immediate removal of marking, it looks years old. Also attachment leaves much to the imagination. One of the reasons I got this board was that I needed to mount it in the portrait, not landscape view. The problem is not the upper attachment brackets but the bottom pair. It's hard to explain specifically why it's bad but suffice it to say that to attach the screws into the frame, they have to point away from the wall (with the screw's head closer to the wall than the point of the screw). The problem is that they supply screws with a very very tiny Phillips indent and soft metal. Because of the angle you have to work with, the Phillips screwdriver tip is going to slip in the tiny head and it's going to wear due to the soft metal. So, tough on instillation, bad on ghosting, successful on mounting in portrait view.

We are using this product as a calendar. I have grid it off, and have more than enough room in each of the squares for writing down information on the whole office!
