Comments about GBC Quartet Instant Portable Easel:
This item was a quick and easy way to show a large photo. Setup and take-down is incredible easy and it store in a small bag about the size of a foldable umbrella. Great for the price.

Great product. The one exception is, you can not write or attach items to your presentation board without knocking over the tripod.
Not quality
from Indiana
Not sturdy. Can not hold a light paper tablet or white board. Can not write on paper while being held by easel. Very disappointed.
Okay for the price

The tripod easily sets up but lacks bracing, so it is a bit wobbly. It is basically 3 tent poles joined at the top. It will support a white board, but would not be useful for objects requiring a lot of movement such as a flip chart or writing pad.

Meets many needs in a variety of situations. Holding easel pads, artwork, display boards, etc. Never thought an easel would be so easy to transport or store.
not sturdy

The legs on this easel did not stay in place. Did not feel that we should use it because we felt it would fall. The legs need to have a locking feature. We bought another easel instead of using this one.
terrible, I bought 2, going back

flimsy, cheap, and didn't want to stay open. It's going back, very cheap and poor disign, should have some kind of locking mechanism. Just back all around, unstable.
Instant Yes; Outdoors No

I purchased 4 of these to replace some broken ones at the last minute for a job fair in which I was participating. They are a breeze to set up, but adjusting the product supports on the tripod legs is not as easy as it should be. However, because they are lightweight, I would not recommend that this product be used outside or even in a breezeway where wind will be experienced as the slightest breeze continued to knock down my displays. If you must use the product outside, I would recommend some type of coutner-weight system to keep it in place. It is not a bad product overall, but it could use some improvements.
Good for lightweight static displays

This was purched to hold statis displays in the lobby of a rental hall. For lightweight, static displays it is more tham adequate. It can't be used for for holding display or writing board or where several changes need to be made.
