Comments about GBC Quartet Heavy-Duty Instant Easel:

As expected

I read the reviews before purchasing this product. The impression I had: simple, does the job, NOT heavy duty. After it arrived it was nicer than expected for the price & it did the job. Portability was perfect. I was mindful of the comments about the holding clips NOT being heavy duty. It is definitely for display & not for white board writing activities. We used it for a trade show display. It now sits in my lobby holding a large white board. A client's 10 y/o wanted to be creative with the white board. I watched her draw, erase, rearrange & practically disassemble the display. I worried it might collapse on her, but it never did & the clips survived her vigorous activities. It might not survive continued use in such a manor, but it impressed me.

Waste of Money
By Sr. Cathy

I ordered two for an exhibit, I didn't open the shipping packet until I get there, my mistake. [...] Total waste of my money. Both kept falling at the least touch, by the end of the conference I wanted to toss both in the trash.
Not So Good Value

Used for classroom settings and to direct attendees.Good because of it's size and flexibility.Flimsy because it broke on the first use (clip)
Should be labeled Light Duty
By Sher Bear

This easel is easy to store and transport. On the other hand, I would never label this item heavy duty. It is for light objects only. We used it to hold a small foam board which it was fine for. I wouldn't use it for anything heavier.

Only for very light weight items

Not strong enough to hold up a 27"x34" easel pad b/c the props keep sliding down the rods. Can't keep pad on the tripod.
