terrible install, windows 7, upgrade

Comments about Intuit QuickBooks� Pro 2013:
This upgraden wasn required by Intuit in order to maintain payroll services. Pro 2010 was adequate for our needs. When we tried to update, the prograsm crashed on install. After 6 calls to technical support by myself and sebveral calls from my IT guru, my computer is crippled and this program is still not functional. Furthermore, the first step of the install was a deletion of the original program.I still have the database file, but cannot even reinstall the older version. I have not been able to recieve checks from customers, issue invoices or pay my employees in 4 days. THis product may put me out of business.

I have been using Quickbooks for years. 2013 is the worst set up I have ever dealt with. I truly hate it and wish I could go back to version 2012. I have made numberous mistakes in recording sales receipts because I cannot read the display. I found I cannot change from the gray/black ribbon that forms the sales receipt. I have already warned other users to not upgrate to version 2013 if they don't need to. I hope that enough people complain so that version 2014 is easier to read and use.

Great Program for a small business

Great organizational program for a small business. It covers all the bases but still allows for personalization of the basic accounting requirements. It is easy to use and lets one enter older transactions with ease. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a good accounting program for their business.

We were using quickbooks 2010 and had to update to 2013. I really like the new features and it is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it seems to load slower than our previous version. Not sure if that will eventually get better or it will alway be a problem, but overall I am satisfied with the updates!

A disaster

Have used quicken for years. alwa\ys instaled myself Thought I would upgrade. dreadful idea. Had my tech here three times and still struggling, Very expensive Flaw in microsoft causes problems as well. Kept getting error messages, Hours and hours on the phone. Lots of incompetant techs. some excellent. Have to send qicken records to them to transfer. Didn't do complete job. I will return and go back to quicken.
