We use these all the time in our business and now we are recycling old ones because the metal binders are now covered in a purple wax that can't be removed. This makes putting the fastener on impossible. It just doesn't fit. I called the company and they said they are only ment to bend in place now (not fasten with metal fasteners). When you close the binder, the clips stick together from opposite sides and just don't look as neat anymore for our clients. We don't buy the new ones now.
