          Cartridges are sometimes defective, but easy to return/exchange. Ones that do work, work quite well, last just as long as OEM cartridges, and produce good, clean printing. (Hint to person who reported shadowing--your printer probably needs to be cleaned.)

              Ordered 2. The first one lasted 5 weeks and 2 days. Second one is in use now, but color is dull. HP cartridge lasted 11 months 16 days of same type of printing. Never plan to buy these again. In this case, cheaper is far more expensive. Base on mine and other reviews, this product is consistently inconsistent.

                We use the Quill brand of this cartridge in all of our printers of this type (we have 7 company wide). We've never had a problem with any of them. They last just as long as the brand name cartridges and print at full quality from install until they run out.
