Comments about Staples Quill Brand Silverio Leather Executive High-Back Chair:
The leather smells as if were cured with Diesel Fuel. So the chair smells bad. Also, this chair has very minimal pading.
Fabulous Chair!

About Me High-end Shopper
This is one of the best chairs for the price we could find. Appealing to the staff and patients. The chair doesn't have that big bulky look as some. The arms don't catch on the desk. Haven't ever had a need to clean the rollers. The back support is good if you sit back in the chair and use the support. Ordering 3 or more gets you a discount. If you need padded arms, you need to get back to work.
Good chair for the money !

Good chair but it allows the user to lean back a bit farther then most chairs allowing your weight to get back farther then your balance can handle quite easily. I lock the chair to not allow the user to lean back. Chair size is for average build people. Not for larger sized people.
i like it

Bought one for my husband to use at home when he was on his computer. I sat in in for a couple of hours, and went back the next day and got one for my classroom!
It beats the rest!

What sets this chair apart from the others:It is sleek and practical. The frame is slender but sturdy, so I can actually bend my knees at the front of the chair, whereas it would be cushiony or bulky there in most other chairs. The chair has the ability to rock (not just lean) or to stand still by releasing or locking the lever under the chair. You can remove the arm rests with a hex tool if you prefer, making it easier to slide in and out of the chair from the sides or just to let your arms hang by your sides. The back of the chair stops at just the right height to support the neck if you lean back but not push the head forward. I like that. The things I would tweak if I could:I would prefer it be able to be lowered just a little more, so that I could cross my legs under my desk. However, it is able to be lowered as much as or more than all the other chairs I tried.Though there is a good design for lumbar support, I end up folding up a blanket and sticking it behind my back for extra lumbar support because I need it a little lower than the curve of the chair goes for my back.I like the material of the chair, but the one on display in the store had a tear in it, so I am being careful to not scratch the material, because it seems like it would tear pretty easily.

Absolutely LOVE this chair...

About six months ago I got a full-time marketing job which requires me to work from home, as there is no central office. I started to feel strain in my back, so I finally bit the bullet and went out to look for an office chair. I really wanted a one-piece chair, so when I saw that my local Staples store were selling the floor sample of this chair for [$], I tested it out and bought it. So, not only did I get it for half the price, it was already assembled! It is by far one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever used for working hours at a time. It looks great, the lumbar support is fantastic, the back height is perfect for me, and it has the look of a much more expensive chair. I read the "most popular" negative review where the person said that the material wasn't breathable and that polyurethane tends to peel. Well, all I can say to that is that there is a 5-year manufacturer's warranty which would cover any peeling, and as far as breathability, if you don't plan on sitting naked at your desk for hours at a time I wouldn't think this would be an issue. I've been working for the past week in shorts and I haven't noticed a problem. All said, for the price I paid for it, what I'm using it for, and the fact that it inspired me to submit a review, on a scale of 1 - 5, I would rate this chair a 6!
great chair, I'm impressed

It's an impressive chair, very thin design so it is perfect for a smaller space but it has big chair comfort.
