The plastic the trays are made of seems pretty soft and flimsy, but for the price, I wasn't expecting too much. I can't imagine these trays holding anything very heavier than stacks of paper, lucky for me that's all I use it for. Even after just a little use, the clear plastic already has lots of scratches.
