Work great if you load them properly!
Our library has used these paper towels for years. We are on a very tight budget, and they serve our needs. I recommend them!
Regarding other reviews: Absorbency is adequate -- I have used much less absorbent towels elsewhere.
The reviews stating that they can't be pulled out of the dispenser are from folks who don't realize you must load them with the open ends of the C-fold DOWNWARD, toward the slot from which the user pulls the towels. Then there is a leading edge for them to pull. If they are not packed tightly into the dispenser, the user will not pull out more than one at a time.
The other towels we have used were a little rough or scratchy, when drying hands with them - but the Quill brand hand towels dries hands well, does not fall apart and are softer than other brands.....and the price is right.
When someone pulls these paper towels out of the dispenser, a bunch pull out making them very wasteful. I find unused paper towels in the trash bin. Very costly. Also, these paper towels do not absorb well.
The towels are folded so one cannot get them out of the dispenser easily. You have to dig for one and end up removing 5 or more at a time. They are so flimsy. It is almost like drying hands with a tissue
