Purchased to do occassional shredding of work & personal papers. When I would lift the shredder off the base to empty the bin I was hearing a rattle. Last week I thought it had jammed. Turns out the rattle was the 2 screws that hold the motor in place. I could only put one screw back in without taking the gears out. It is currently working ok.

I don't want anything going out with the trash that has our name on it. I not only shred old bills, but also envelopes and we rip off the pages of magazines and the order forms inside that shows our name even if it doesn't have our address on it.

i think i have it for about 6 months the most, i used it like 3 times a week
it would over heat super fast and get jammed, all the blades broke, so i had to trash it, i do not suggest you buy it for work
